Randall D. Frakes
Chief Executive Officer
Randall Frakes serves as Chief Executive Officer of Health Access Solutions. He is recognized in the healthcare technology industry for his advanced approach to managed care administration and technology. Prior to joining Health Access Solutions in 1996, Frakes served as vice president of data management for Foundation Health Corporation, where he had responsibility for provider data, contract implementation, credentialing and benefits administration. From 1986 to 1996, he served as vice president of operations and chief operations officer for Foundation Health Preferred Administrators, a third-party administrator specializing in physician groups with capitated HMO contracts and PPO plans. In this leadership position, he built an operation with 200,000 self-funded and medical group members. Prior to this role, Frakes managed HMO and self-funded systems development for Blue Cross of California and TakeCare.

Dwight L. French
Chief Operating Officer
As an original member of the Health Access Solutions executive management team, Dwight French serves as Chief Operating Officer, with responsibility for directing the business operations, including developing new business and strategic business partnerships, product and service direction, overseeing product development and support services, and leading strategic planning and execution of client services and development, professional services, sales, marketing and public relations. For 23 years, Dwight has helped Fortune 1000 clients build strategic value by closely collaborating with business and IT senior leadership. His exclusive focus the last 14 years has been working with various healthcare participants, including health plans, hospitals and their affiliates, physicians and group practices. During his career, he has served in a leadership capacity for large publicly-traded technology and consulting firms as well as start-up entities pioneering new markets and solutions.

Christopher Mailander
Chief Corporate Development Officer & Chief Finance Officer
Chris Mailander is responsible for the strategy, legal, finance, investment and the software development functions at Health Access Solutions. He previously was the managing director of a corporate development consultancy and international M&A law firm, representing international private equity companies acquiring controlling interests in new ventures in over 20 countries. He was formerly the head of New Venture Development for KPMG Consulting/BearingPoint, founding three new practices which grew to $100M in revenues for the Big Five consultancy. He began his career representing international financial institutions and healthcare companies during consideration of major reform initiatives. He is a member of the bar in California and the District of Columbia, and a graduate with honors from Georgetown University Law with an LL.M in Securities and Financial Regulation.

Laurance Alvarado
Senior Vice President of Client Services
Laurance combines innovation and strategy with passion and practicality. The result: useful and meaningful products, processes and polices over the last 26+ years. He’s a former Air Force officer and Big 4 Partner who has started, grown and successfully led ventures in over 25 countries, and has the good sense to never forget the mission of the customers and clients – a sense that fuels him at HAS. Witty, disciplined and personable, it only takes a moment before you discover that he has a love for technology, design, and doing something great. Perhaps you’ll meet him while he’s commuting on his Brompton or on a group ride during the weekend, but you can rest assured, that there is no rest when it comes to his commitment to our clients.

David Murphy
Vice President Marketing
David Murphy joined Health Access Solutions in May 2010 to lead strategic marketing, including the full range of upstream and downstream marketing, strategic partnerships and public relations. Additionally he serves as a member of the product management committee. Murphy brings a combination of strong analytic, strategic and operational leadership skills in marketing, business development, partnerships and product management, gained from a career spanning more than 20 years in the executive ranks with innovative health information technology companies. Murphy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science from the University of Minnesota with a major in marketing and minor in communications.
